Since its founding in 2012, Majorelle has developed a women’s health product range in the French market, meeting medical needs, making new treatments available to patients, and offering significant public health outcomes. The company has been successful in the market with the Opti® brand range of oral contraceptive pills on a continuous 28 day regimen. Majorelle has also built a successful urology franchise around Keat, a wire-free medical device for urinary incontinence at home and Vitaros, a topical drug for erectile dysfunction. EW plans to further extend Majorelle’s product portfolio and commercial infrastructure in France and support the company’s ambition to grow into a pan-European specialty pharma company. In April 2021, EW acquired a majority stake in Laboratoires Majorelle to support its growth and European expansion.
