Mr. Parikh has played a key role as a Board Director or Observer in EW growth equity portfolio companies BioTissue (formerly known as TissueTech), Vital Connect, Prolacta, Bioventus, and Cardiva Medical (acquired by Haemonetics). He has also been a key member in a number of the Firm’s investments, including MiMedx Group, TELA Bio, and Encore Dermatology.
Prior to joining EW, Mr. Parikh was an investor at Health Evolution Partners, a private equity firm focused on healthcare growth equity and buyout investments. Previously, he worked in the investment banking group at Citigroup, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions primarily in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.
Mr. Parikh earned his Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
