Mike Minogue

Mike Minogue joined EW as Senior Advisor in 2023.
Mr. Minogue served as the Chairman, President, and CEO of Abiomed, Inc. for 18 years until its acquisition in December 2022 by Johnson & Johnson. Prior to joining Abiomed, Inc., Mr. Minogue spent 11 years with General Electric Healthcare, where he held numerous leadership roles.
Mr. Minogue currently serves on the boards of Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: PODD), St. John’s Preparatory School, Crane Estate Advisory Board, and MedTechVets, and is a co-owner of BOOST Oxygen. Previously, Mr. Minogue served as a director of the medical device industry association Board of Directors for the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). He has previously served on the boards of Abiomed, LifeCell, Bioventus (NASDAQ: BVS), the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) and as the Chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Veterans’ Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mr. Minogue is passionate about supporting education, military veterans and causes for children. in 2012, he co-founded MedTechVets, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps military veterans discover career opportunities in MedTech. In 2015, he co-founded the Mike and Renee Minogue Foundation to support faith-based education and pediatric care through partnerships with the Catholic Schools Foundation, WonderFund, Boston Children’s Hospital, and multiple others.
Mr. Minogue served as an officer in the U.S. Army, where he earned multiple distinctions including Airborne, Ranger, Desert Storm veteran and a Bronze Star.
Mr. Minogue received his B.S. in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
